This is a free, personal project. By using the site you accept the short terms below. They're written to be read, and they only restate what the dashboard already tells you in its tags and footnotes.
Not advice
Nothing here is safety, financial, legal, investment or policy advice. The simulated figures, meaning the threat gauge, the capability-versus-safety curve, the Time Machine projections and five of the seven risk axes, come from a toy model I built by hand. They are illustrative. They are not forecasts, benchmarks or evaluations of any company, lab or model, and you shouldn't make decisions based on them.
No guarantees
The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it's accurate, complete, current or always available. The live feeds can be late or fail. The data-center map is a dated snapshot and can be out of date or wrong, as any dataset can. Check the original source before you rely on or repeat anything. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for losses that come from using the site.
Where the data comes from
The data-center map uses Epoch AI's published dataset, licensed CC BY 4.0. If you reuse that data, credit Epoch AI. Locations are placed using OpenStreetMap data. Alert headlines and links belong to their publishers, and the site only points to them.
Quoting and citing
You're welcome to quote the site, link to it and cite it. The Export menu produces files with a citation and a source and a tier on every row, so the labels travel with the numbers. Please keep those labels when you share a figure: a simulated number presented as real is exactly what this site tries to prevent. These terms don't give you the right to copy the site's code or its model beyond quoting and citing.
Using the site
Please don't try to break it, overload it, or scrape it at a rate that gets in other people's way. Links to other sites are for convenience; I don't control them and I'm not responsible for what they say or do. See the Privacy Policy for what the site stores and counts.
Changes
I may change the site or these terms. The date at the top shows when this page last changed. If I add accounts, ads or anything else that needs fuller terms, I'll replace this page with them first.
